In this project I created posters for a hypothetical event.
The goal was to create 3 visually unique posters that conveyed the exact same event information on each poster.
The title that was assigned was "The Elements of Typographic Style".
Worked both on and off the computer to explore potential avenues.
I ended up creating some atrocious type manipulations, but also ended up with a few favorites seen below.
Once a style was established, a grid structure needed to be created to lay out the poster. This was achieved by  tracing over random pictures and old magazine spreads.
In order to create the posters, I designed on top of them, letting the grids do almost all the work for me.
Color was the most exciting part because they supplemented personality to each poster.
I printed out the posters on letter sized paper to see how different the colors would be compared to the digital versions. At this step I also began prepping for tiling my posters to create a large size mockup.
Tiled posters to mimic large sized print.
Final Result of the three unique event posters.
